Creating a New Chat Room

You can create a new chat room to maintain focused discussions on specific topics. Follow these steps to get started:

Steps to Create a New Chat Room

1. Open the Chat Room Menu

   • Web Browser: Navigate to the top-left corner of the screen and click on the "Rooms" menu.

   • iOS: Locate the Bytes' Name at the top of your screen, then tap on it to open the chat room menu.

2. Create a New Room

   • Select the "Create New Room" button located next to the list of existing rooms.

   • Refer to the button shown below:

1. New room is confirmed

   • A pop-up message will notify you once a new room is created.

2. Send the First Message

   • The room title will be automatically generated once you send the first message to your Bytes.

Rename or Delete the Room

• To rename the room:

  • Web Browser: Click the three dots icon next to the room’s title and enter your desired name.

  • iOS: Click and hold the selected room and enter your desired name.

• To delete the room, select the delete option from the same menu.
