Understanding Pairing Reward Mechanism
Pairing Reward is a form of passive income earned as your Hive network below you expands. Here's how it works:
You earn a Pairing Reward when members in both your left and right branches of your network each generate 100 Pairing Credit, an event referred to as "Pairing".
1 bythen card purchase generates 100 Pairing Credit. The more bythen card is purchased, the more Pairing Credit you store.
The more Pairings you achieve, the higher your Pairing Reward will be, increasing your earnings potential as your network grows.

A & B constitutes a pairing ✅
A & B constitutes a pairing ✅
A & B constitutes a pairing ✅
A & B don't constitute a pairing ❌
Pairing Reward Amount
The amount you earn from Pairing Rewards depends on your Hive membership status and the number of pairs you achieve.
Carrying Forward of Excess Honey
Excess Honey generated that hasn’t been considered for pairings can be carried forward to the next day, allowing for future pairing opportunities
Forfeiture of Excess Honey
Excess Honey generated for pairings that exceeds your daily pairing reward limit will be forfeited and cannot be carried over to the next day for future pairing opportunities.
