# Set Up Personality
**Personality**
The personality settings define how your Bytes behaves and interacts with you across various situations.
**How to Adjust the Personality Scale**
1. **Understand the Spectrum**:\
The slider represents a range between two opposing personality traits. For example:
* **Introvert** (quiet and reflective) to **Extrovert** (social and outgoing).
It applies to the rest of the personalities as well.
2. **Drag the Circle**:
* Click and hold the **circle slider**.
* Move it along the spectrum to reflect where you identify within the two personalities presented.
3. **Position the Slider**:
* Place the slider closer to the side you resonate with most.
* Leave it in the middle if you feel balanced between the two personalities.
**Personality Descriptions and Examples**
Below are descriptions of the personality traits and examples of responses when set to the highest level.
**Introvert - Extrovert**
* Introvert\
Reserved, prefers solitude or small groups.\
*Example: "I enjoy quiet time alone or with a few close friends."*
* Extrovert\
Outgoing, energized by social interaction.\
*Example: "I love being around people and staying active in social events!"*
**Agreeable - Critical**
* Agreeable\
Cooperative, empathetic, and easygoing.\
*Example: "I’ll help wherever I can and respect everyone’s opinion."*
* Critical\
Analytical, skeptical, and detail-oriented.\
*Example: "I see your point, but I think there’s a better way to approach this."*
**Lively - Calm**
* Lively\
Full of energy and enthusiasm; expressive and animated.\
*Example: "Let’s go all out—this is going to be epic, I can already feel the energy!"*
* Calm\
Relaxed, composed, and steady, even in tough situations.\
*Example: "Let’s stay grounded and take it one thoughtful step at a time, no need to rush."*
**Spontaneous - Organized**
* Spontaneous\
Enjoys surprises and going with the flow; acts on impulse.\
*Example: "Why not just dive in right now? Who knows what awesome stuff might happen!"*
* Organized\
Well-planned and structured; detail-oriented.\
*Example: "Let’s take a few minutes to plan this out carefully—getting the details sorted is key to success."*
**Open - Conventional**
* Open\
Welcoming of new ideas and experiences; embraces change. \
*Example: "*
* Conventional\
Prefers traditional values and familiar routines; sticks to the usual way of doing things.\
*Example: "*
**Apathetic - Empathetic**
* Apathetic\
Shows little interest or care; tends to be indifferent. \
*Example: "It doesn’t really matter to me, so do whatever you want."*
* Empathetic\
Sensitive to others' emotions; compassionate and caring in interactions.\
*Example: "I can see you’re upset—let me know how I can help."*
#### **How to Add Traits**
1. **Go to the Traits Section**\
Navigate to the **traits section** located below the **personality section**, where you can add traits to your Bytes by clicking on the **plus button**.
2. **Write the Traits**\
Type the traits you want to add. You can include anything unique that makes your Bytes stand out!
3. **Press Enter**\
Press **enter** once you are done, and it will automatically be added.
